Blue Roots is dedicated to the preservation and delivery of high quality bluegrass music to those that are both familiar and unfamiliar with the genre.  Traditional bluegrass material is mixed with country, folk, and popular songs; all delivered with top shelf vocal harmonies and a driving rhythm.  The band guarantees a  bluegrass show that will more than satisfy your entertainment needs. 
 
Blue Roots is a customer service-minded band.  We make every effort to please those that hire us.  We make the following guarantees:
 
Blue Roots will show up ahead of the scheduled start time in order to set up the sound equipment and to visit with the hiring person to address any special needs.
 
Blue Roots uses high quality sound reinforcement equipment and microphones.  We will provide prerecorded music when the band is on break.  We accommodate any request to increase or decrease volume levels.
 
Blue Roots strives to impress the guests at any event with our level of musicianship.  We are strong instrumentally and vocally.
 
Blue Roots recognizes that everyone has a favorite song.  We will play any requests that we know, and some that we may not know!
 
Blue Roots wants the organizer and attendees of any event that has put their faith in our band to walk away with saying "wow".  We love bluegrass music, and are committed to assuring the hiring party that they chose the right band.

• Blue Roots Bluegrass Band lived up to every expectation and then even more. Their work was extremely tight with vocals rich and beautiful. One could tell how much they enjoyed what they were doing, as it manifested in their music. Blue Roots had an extra hurdle that day, for we were staring down the arrival of Hurricane Irene. These wonderful men still honored their commitment by arriving early, then doing a terrific job with a complete outdoor show - knowing all the while they still had the dangerous drive home ahead of them.
