Description

Our main purpose is to keep the blues flame alive!
3rd Degree can play soul, jazz and rock & roll if you want it! We wanna fill up the dance floor.

The tradition of the blues is one of the most vital links to almost every form of modern popular music being performed today . Historically the blues is no doubt the most powerful music in America. It gets little or no airplay on radio or T.V. formats, but is still is being played in every bar, juke, nightclub, casino, and arena or festival and the funny thing about it, this is all over the world . So the blues journey continues from Africa to America to England to Japan to Baghdad it's the story of life!

Feedback

  • This was a Family gathering of about 90 people outdoors. 3rd Degree set up quickly and quietly. It took all fo 30 second into their performance for people to be tapping their feet and clapping their hands. They started the evening a Great Sounding Band and ended the evening as part of the family. Their charm and audience interaction makes them the pefect group for any venue smaller than a stadium. The quality of their music could easly fill the largest venue. We could not have made a beeter choice. -- Robert C, Torrance, CA, 5/19/2012
  • I hired 3rd Degree for a private party at my loft. When I first contacted them, they already had a booking that night. But they moved that gig to accommodate me. They arrived early for set-up, and they even helped with other aspects of the party prep while waiting for the start time. They played exactly the kind of music I wanted and got people on to the dance floor. I received a lot of positive comments from my guests. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them highly. -- Julie M, Los Angeles, CA, 3/2/2012
  • I can sum up our experience with 3rd Degree by just saying: See you next February 2013 for our next annual Black History Celebration Luncheon. Also, we are already receiving feedback from some of those who attended the Celebration Luncheon and everyone is saying how great the band was and how much they enjoyed the band. A great experience. • They were everything one would want in a band... fun, personable, entertaining and VERY talented. What a great group of guys! They clearly play together because they enjoy playing and it clearly shows. Harrison personally called me several times to make sure he was doing what we wanted.
