Kimera

Kimera is a LATIN music band based in Los Angeles, California. The sound of the group is an amazing musical journey with a mix of the finest rhythms of Latin America and Spain. Kimera plays a variety of styles mainly focusing in GYPSY RUMBA, NEW FLAMENCO, BOLEROS, BRAZILIAN, LATIN JAZZ, CHA CHA, CANDOMBE, JAZZ, TANGO etc. The band performs both INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC and SONGS WITH VOCALS. The repertory includes both well known music as well as original compositions.
Kimera performs live in a variety of private events such as: weddings, corporate functions, birthday parties, baptisms, and award ceremonies. The group can adapt to fit the needs
of any type of event either performing as a DUO, TRIO, QUARTET, FIVE or SIX PIECE BAND.
The Latin background and vast experience of the band members gives the music an authentic and unique sound.
Depending on the sound requirements of the event, we bring either small amplifiers or our own PA System AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. We also provide a microphone in case one is needed to make announcements, toasts etc.

• Everyone at the 50th wedding anniversary party was impressed by the sounds of Kimera! Their promptness and extreme professionalism was appreciated on such a crazy day - we didn't have to worry about a thing! They played a beautiful variety of music, instrumental and with vocals, and happily played a list of requested boleros. We were so excited to see even a few of the older couples, who are usually idle in their chairs, get up to dance.
