Christian Becker World Music Band from Sarasota, FL

Christian Becker is from Peru and performs both original and popular songs in Spanish and English fusing Latin and Peruvian rhythms with modern electronic styles. He performs diverse instruments such as the Indian sitar, Peruvian panflutes, cajon and charango. His range of styles include - salsa, vals, bolero, samba, bossa nova, festejo, calypso, reggae, cumbia, bachata and merengue. He studied the classical music of north India with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan in San Francisco and guitar performance at Berklee College of Music. In Peru he recorded "El Espiritu de la Musica" with NUNA and performed with Fragil, the iconic Peruvian rock band. He has most recently toured Europe with Herbert Quinteros sharing healing vibrations around the planet.
