Description
We are a Latin Mix/ cover and some original small orchestra or conjunto. We have 9 members ( one lead vocal/ guitar, one second vocal, one piano, one bass, one trumpet (sometimes a second trumpet), one trombone/ backup vocal, one conga player/ backup vocal, one timbale player, one bongo/ percussionist/ backup vocal).
We play Latin cover tunes in salsa, Cuban Son, cumbia, merengue, cha-cha, Latin Jazz, and crossover Latin. We have played Carnaval S.F. 2008, Half Moon Bay Summer Concert Series 2008, 2009, 2010 upcoming, Arbor day S.F. Public Works, S.F. Dia De Los Muertos 2009, Nicaraguan Hurricane Efforts Benefit 2008 San Mateo, numerous private parties and benefits in the S.F. Bay Area.
Our specialty is that we play a variety of danceable tunes in different Latin styles and are not a "one trick pony". Our versatility is our strength. We have several live performance tunes on We also have a myspacemusic site.
Lastly, we are a band 3 generations from mid-twenties to mid-sixties...Experience with the energy of youth is a PLUS. We would love to make you dance or just kick back and groove to retro salsa to recent salsa hits...traditional son and Latin jazz with a flare...Musica Bailable con Sabor y Ritmo!!!!
