COLORES is a good time party band comprised of entertaining, dynamic and versatile performers from the Bay area and Northern California. This group of accomplished musicians play Latin/Old School/RnB/Funk/Rock as well as popular Latin standards, Cumbias & Salsa. Onstage this entertaining ensemble is led by the vocal emotions of David Zabalza (Recording artist). David has written and performed music with gold album recipient Pablo Tellez, who was Santana's bass player for the Moonflower/Festival albums and the original bass player for the legendary latin rock group Malo. David has recorded and shared the stage with many legendary recording artist including; War, Temptations, Con-Funk-Shun, Tower of Power, Tierra, Dizzy Gillespie and many more.

COLORES is an excelent band that is driven by a tight, dynamic rhythm section. The tight funky Bass and Vocals of Sal Ramos Jr. The pocket drumming of Arnold Sanchez. The rhythmic mastery of Conga player Eddie Jimenez (a busy and very sought after Congeto in the Bay area, who has played in and recorded with several great Latin bands) and the percusive chops of Timbale player Tomas Montano (a very respected Timbale player in the Bay area and friend, student and local drum tech of Karl Perrazo (Santana's Timbale player).

Accented all that with the soaring leads and tight grooves of Jazz/funk Keyboardist Calixto Manriquez (an accomplished pianist/keyboardist, who has worked with groups ranging from smoking jazz trios to groove-based RnB/funk bands and percussion-driven latin projects and even full-on 18-piece big bands). The versatile guitar playing of Al Bruggman (Guitarist for his own Santana tribute band and several popular RnB/Funk bands. Al also plays montunos on the Cuatro guitar for that traditional latin sound).
