DESCRIPTION:
With over 30 years professional experience, Michael Levine has acquired a reputation as a top-notch solo pianist & keyboardist, is one of the leading Gigmasters performers in the U.S., and is often lauded as "Pianist to the Stars!" Following classical training on the east coast, he became a Californian and started playing at such prestigious venues as the Fairmont in San Jose, the Four Seasons Clift and Mark Hopkins Hotels in S.F., and opened for Chuck Berry at San Francisco's Gift Center. In addition to political fund-raisers for Shirley Temple Black, Senators Alan Cranston and Dianne Feinstein, S.F. Mayors Willie Brown and Gavin Newsom, plus the Hon. Norman Y. Mineta, Michael played several benefits for the S.F. Symphony, and performed at the wedding of '49ers Hall-of-Famer Ronnie Lott. More recently, Michael played at another '49ers Gala event, the retirement party for Jerry Rice in Nov. 2006. As an option for outdoor or piano-less job sites, Michael has concert-quality, portable keyboard equipment which delights audiences at conventions, private parties, trade shows, cruise ships and all functions where an extra 'sparkle' and ambience enhancement is desired. Repertoire includes Gershwin, Cole Porter, Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Standards from every era, blues, international music, classical and much more! From our very first contact with Michael, to the last note of his superb performance, he was a total pro, and an absolute delight to work with! His amazing keyboard command and almost encyclopedic memory (he played a phenomenal repertoire "by heart") were matched by his eagerness to please our guests, and his effortless "people skills." Everyone loved Michael's infectious sense of joy and "fun"; he even ran out of business cards before the party ended. That's when I proudly answered all those who inquired, "I'm the one who found him, on Gigmasters!" We ALL had a great time! Thank You!

Hired as a last-minute replacement for the other entertainer I had engaged for our anniversary, Michael saved the day! His professionalism was apparent even before the party began: he arrived almost an hour early, beautifully attired, took time to locate the optimal spot to set up his impressive keyboard equipment, and wowed our many guests with the widest assortment of repertoire imaginable, all delivered with flair, beauty, delightful humor and showmanship!
Our guests frequently stopped to cheer and applaud Michael's highly-charged performances, and the many musicians present (I am one myself) expressed their amazement at his flying fingers, outstanding talent and boundless energy & enthusiasm.
At least three guests booked Michael on the spot for events of their own, and I simply can't thank him enough for his enormous contribution to the success of our party! Bravo, Michael! Highest possible recommendation!

He was very good and suited our reception just wonderfully. Mr. Levine honored all requests and was even willing to bring his own keyboard which saved the Association of California School Administrators $250.00. Mr. Levine played for a crowd of 819 people and was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend Michael Levine for your next event.

Two weeks before our wedding date, we had no music for our ceremony. Michael called within 5 minutes of my inquiry for his service. After a brief conversation, I felt relieved that not only was he extremely talented, he was able to book the date on two weeks notice. After the ceremony, I was approached by several guests with positive comments about Michael's music. I am very satisfied with Michael's performance and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing his type of service.
