1. Karaoke is INTERACTIVE. Your guests will have more fun when they can participate in the entertainment . . . and even if they're too shy to sing themselves, they'll have fun watching YOU sing!

3. We have MANNY and JAY! Manny and Jay are our emcees, and they're so much more. They are professional singer with amazing voices -- typically we use one or the other for parties, but if you want we can bring them both. We usually start our shows by having them croon a few tunes. They also sing backing vocals all night (something other karaoke bands don't have), and keep the show running smoothly no matter how chaotic the party might get. Everybody loves Manny and Jay!
4. We're totally FLEXIBLE! We know a huge number of songs, so if you're having a themed party, we can accomodate. We can be an amazing cover band with Manny as lead singer, or we can do one set as a cover band and another set of karaoke. We can also adjust our costumes to fit the mood you're trying to strike. 5. We have ERIC AND JON! Eric and Jon are our guitarists, and they both wail. We usually only use one or the other, but if you want to go all out and have both, we can make that happen too. You should hear them shred the solo on "Hotel California."
6. We can LEARN NEW SONGS just for you! This is especially nice for weddings and birthdays, or any occasion where you have a sentimental attachment to a song.
7. We have CHRIS! He's our drummer, and he's the heart and soul of the band. His smile is infectious -- you can't not have fun when you watch Chris play! He's also a trained jazz drummer, and he can play with sticks or brushes if we have to keep the noise level down.

"OMG Casual Encounters was awesome! First and foremost they exceeded my expectations with their endless accommodation. Our corporate event was a 'speak easy' 20's theme and they made sure to dress the part which was amazing! Casual Encounters', Graeme, was always so easy to get a hold of with little questions and changes. Super easy to work with and communicate with. They were so flexible with my last minute time shifts. So cohesive, friendly, super fun, super outgoing. This band was really the sweet icing on our event cake. My staff was talking about them for weeks after. I don't even karaoke, EVER(!) and I could not get enough. They will make your party! "

"Casual Encounters was awesome at our wedding reception - I really could not have asked for a better group of entertainers. They had all of their own equipment and were completely self contained - I only had to supply a location and outlets. Not only did they come with a long list of wonderfully varied options of songs they made a point to learn a selection of new songs that I had specifically requested for the event. They were professional, respectful and fun.
