I am a singer-songwriter playing what is known as "Tropical Rock" music in the style of Jimmy Buffett. The music I play portrays an attitude of "toes-in-the-sand-Margarita-in-my-hand" type of subject matter and nautical themes. Over 75 Buffett tunes and other Trop Rock songs, some with a decidedly humorous twist.

I use professional sounding backing tracks which I have created myself to provide the sound of a full band without paying for one. If you want an authentic sounding one-man Jimmy Buffett Band I'm your guy! Listen to my samples for examples!

Costs vary depending on the amount of travel (call about my special Tahiti rates), availability of Landshark beer, immunizations, fishing possibilities, the amount of clothing required (the less the better), distance from the stage to the water, etc.

Of course I prefer to play at large outdoor venues before thousands of adoring fans with fists full of CD money, but I play small intimate parties as well.

• Absolutely phenomenal evening. Dave Calhoun was perfect. His sound is so authentic, some people had to do a double-take to see if it really was Jimmy Buffet in our backyard. He was very accommodating and could go as soft or as loud as we wished. He played all our requests, looked as if he was having a good time as well.
