Angela DeNiro & Ron Aprea Jazz Band from Northport, NY

Jazz Vocalist Angela DeNiro and saxophonist Ron Aprea are a team that perform standards and jazz classics, which feature's Angela scatting with Ron's alto. Angela & Ron have headlined or featured at many major jazz festivals, (e.g. Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, Les Nuits du Jazz). Ms. DeNiro has three albums, with both Ron's sextet and Big Band. Angela has recorded with Lionel Hampton, Frank Foster. Lew Tabackin, Mark Murphy, and other jazz giants. Ron has toured with Woody Herman, Lionel Hampton, Tito Puente, Nat Adderley and other jazz greats. Ron can be heard on recordings with Lionel Hampton, Frank Foster, Lew Tabackin, Mark Murphy, Brian Lynch, Cecilia Coleman, and his own album entitled "Ronnie April's (Aprea's)Positive Energy." Ron was also a member of John Lennon's "Little Big Horns" on the album entitled "Walls and Bridges"! Ron and Angela co-hosted a weekly radio show on station WSHR-FM entitled "Rush Hour Rendezvous." The show, which ran successfully for two years, featured jazz classics and insightful dialog. Ron's band size and instrumentation can be modified to match your entertainment needs for any client!
