The Davis and Roberson Project Jazz Duo from Phoenix, AZ

The Davis and Roberson Project is primarily a smooth jazz, R&B duo that consist of Gale Roberson and myself,Gene Davis. We've been performing together as musicians since 1975! In the late nineties as members of the jazz group "Koncept" we performed for Jason Kidd's celebrity golf tournament parties when he was a member of the Phx Suns! More recently we performed at Dewitt's Fine Interiors (Tuscon) customer appreciation party, Bobby Mancusos @ Kierland Commons North Scottsdale, Restaurant 1130 @ Arizona Center, and Kazimierz Wine Bar in Scottsdale! Our playlist is diverse enough to fit into a fine dinning, cruise ship, yacht party, jazz club, corporate, private party or bridal event settings! We pride ourselves on giving the client a well balanced high fidelity sound without overbearing volume! I'm a pro-bassist / keyboardist. Gale is a pro-guitarist / keyboardist! Our primary genre is instrumental smooth jazz, some classic R&B, and easy listening! We do some lite vocals too! Gale is the genius on creating instrumental tracks (via laptop) the we play along with, on our instruments!The result is an experience in music that sounds very close to the original artist! This work is done in our well equipped home recording studios. We have very capable PA systems for any sized room or outdoor setting! Our jazz duo set up is very affordable, but with the sound of a much larger band! We look forward to giving you a solid, upscale musical experience for your restaurant, lounge, party or event!
