Lorraina Marro Jazz Band from Simi Valley, CA

Easily recognized on the Los Angeles nighttime singing stage for her classy, passionate and sophisticated renditions of the American Songbook, Lorraina Marro has performed extensively at L.A.’s top jazz clubs: Catalina Jazz Club, Feinstein’s at Vitello’s, House of Blues, Cinegrill and The Gardenia; and in NY at The Metropolitan Room and Danny’s Skylight Room. Her interpretations of classic standards as well as original tunes have also invited appearances on the Las Vegas stage including The Four Seasons, Aladdin and Las Vegas Hilton hotels. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lorraina Marro has made her mark as a talented vocalist, who is passionate about her music and committed to interpreting songs in her own style. Her early influences include Nancy Wilson, Della Reese, Etta James, Linda Ronstadt, Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand. Lorraina Marro has a powerful voice; her vocals are warm, smooth and sultry. Her live performances display her joy in singing, her charm, warm sense of humor and genuine connection with her audience. She blends together jazz, Latin music, Broadway and R&B. Lorraina Marro’s 3rd album, Love is For All Time (released on July 15, 2021), remained in the Top 10 Contemporary Jazz Albums on the Roots Music Reports for over 52 weeks; and is #13 on the Roots Music Reports Best Jazz Albums for 2022. Lorraina released 2 new singles in 2023: “Alone Together” and “All My Tomorrows.” She is scheduled to release 2 Spanish singles later in 2023: Abrazame and Voy a Apagar la Luz.
