From wowing the red carpet celebrities at The Academy Awards year after year, to entertaining important corporate clients such as Mattel and Warner Bros. Studios, The Martini Kings are a perennial favorite with 'A' listers around Los Angeles and beyond. Industry insiders have called The Martini Kings to provide their unique brand of retro jazz on projects as diverse as HBO's award winners Six Feet Under and Entourage, and have made new fans from clients like C.S.I. Generally we suggest either 3 piece (bass, vibes, drums) or 4 piece (includes guitar) depending on the function and your budget. We are also available as a duo of bass and vibes for smaller affairs. For larger functions we suggest adding additional pieces such as saxophone, keyboards or vocalist - to really round out and complete The Martini Kings swingin' sound. We are seasoned players who have toured, recorded and played with a variety of musicians the likes of which include Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Dr. John, Roger Daltrey, Etta James, Cher, Rod Stewart, The Eurythmics, The Blasters, Carole King and Matthew Sweet - just to name a few! In addition we've been called on to appear in and score numerous movies, television and commercials. Group members haved appeared on The Jay Leno Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, Conan O'Brien and MTV. The Martini Kings are the antidote to average.
