The Barney Griffin Orchestra is a highly skilled 3-5-piece musical act. Featured are vocals & guitar, vocals and keyboard and drums. We add on horn players, female vocalists and additional instruments if requested. We perform our own brand of Jazz,Pop & Rock standards and throw in original music;some of it with a comedic touch. Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, the Beatles, Elvis Presley,
Nat King Cole, Billy Joel, James Taylor and Paul Simon would be a good cross section desription of our repetoire.

We don't believe in 'blasting the audience out of the room ' with too much volume, have excellent energy levels and lots of wonderful experience backing us up.

• I was very impressed with the Barney Griffin Orchestra. They were very responsive to all my wishes and were very adaptable. They performed outside at my wedding ceremony, in another room for the cocktail hour, and yet another location for the reception and everything flowed smoothly. Considering we had no maitre d', Barney had to go above and beyond the responsibilities of a band. The whole evening was wonderful and went off without a hitch. Oh, and regarding thier talent, I give them a 10! They sounded fantastic and I received many, many compliments from the guests. • Barney Griffin contacted me immediately after I posted my request. Once he learned about the nature of the event (a not for profit celebration honoring our best volunteers) he was genuinely interested and made every effort to work with us given our limited budget. On the day of the event, the band arrived 1/2 hour earlier and played a 2 hour set of great rock n roll, jazz standards and even took requests from the audience. It was a pleausre to work with the Barney Griffin Band and I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again soon. • These guys are the best and I consistently had compliments on their performance all night. They arrived early enough to do their own set-up well before the party began, and modified their volume to accommodate the museum architecture. They played a variety of Rock N Roll and Jazz favorites, and had the crowd dancing by the end.
