With 50 plus bookings and unanimous excellent customer ratings with Gigmasters, and averaging over 100 performances a year in the DC area, Potomac Jazz Project is one of the DC area's most popular groups. We specialize in swing, jazz, and bossa novas. In addition to weddings and private events, we have appeared at venues like The Smithsonian and The Kennedy Center, as well as local popular jazz clubs.
Note that there are audio samples of QUINTETS, QUARTETS, TRIOS, DUOS, AND SOLOISTS, with varying instrumentations. We take pride in our expertise in tailoring our ensemble to your event!
AND you may add a VOCALIST to any of the above!! The singers we work with are all among DC's best! The singer featured here on our Gigmasters site is Lena Seikaly, the vocalist we work with most frequently! Other vocalists we work with are Sara Jones and L'Tanya Mari.

"The Potomac Jazz Project was great! All of our guests loved them and when everyone left our party(my father's 70th birthday party), they continued to play just for my family. It like being in our own personal jazz club. :-)
I really can't say enough nice things about this group(professionalism, set-up, developed music set, etc.). Would and plan on using them again in a heart beat, I just need to plan another party.

"Stan and his band have been wonderful, they were punctual and extremely accommodating to my request even though my request change quite a few times before the event. They are excellent players and it was a priviledge to have them play at Windward's corporate event and this is a band that I will definitely use time and time again.
The Potomac Jazz project was absolutely awesome, they really created the musical atmosphere I wanted to achieve. The employees which were a mixture of individuals really liked the music and they were dancing and this was not a "real dancing" crowd, but they were dancing due to the fabulous job the band did."
