He played (and sometimes also sang) familiar tunes covering a large range of musical styles - even classical - which really appealed to the large numger of music teachers/musicians in attendance at the party. He sightread a difficult Bach piece, accompanying my (soprano) niece on the piano without a flaw. Peter Niedmann can play ANYTHING! I would hire him again in a second! "He arrived early in the morning and was ready to play at the right time. He mingled with the crowd and seem to feel right at home. Everyone complimented him including the restaurant. His choice of music was exactly what the party asked for. Peter allowed my mother to sing a song at her request. It was the best moment of my mothers life and Peter made it happen. My family and friends could not thank him enough for being there on this special day and letting my mother be a "special lady" for the day.

"peter was fabulous- he alternated between our indoor piano and our outdoor terrace site where he used his "one man band." he was equally charming and engaging in both locations and the crowd loved his music. he knows how to be "background" when the time requires and can ramp up the music and vocals at the proper time. he reads the crowd very well. the selection of music was left to his discretion, i would not have changed anything. far more costly bands have never performed as well for us as this one man music engagement. he will definitely be called back to our home and we will suggest him to others."

"Peter played for a special family birthday luncheon recently at Cafe Allegre in Madison, CT for us. He arrived on time,set up quickly, played beautifully and kept us all entertained throughout. He had an excellent sense for when to sing, play quietly and liven things up a bit. I would recommend him, without reservation, to anyone looking for a pianist. He also stayed an extra 45 minutes longer than was originally agreed upon to accomodate our party running a bit longer.(for a fee of course). 5 star rating by me ;-)
