Kim Oler

My repertoire covers pop and theater songs from Scott Joplin to Stephen Sondheim to James Taylor and Michael Buble in a style I call jazz cabaret. I have an extensive repertoire of musical theatre standards and pop and jazz standards from the 1920s through the 1980s (I am not top-40) and regularly play private parties, fundraisers, corporate events, and concerts in NYC and the surrounding region. I play keyboards and also sing and love to lead impromptu singalong when requested with lyric books I'd bring for the guests. As a composer I am a two-time Emmy Award winner, two-time Richard Rodgers Award Winner, Manhattan Association of Cabarets Award winner for Best Original Song, and recipient of the Jerry Bock Award. I perform with a rhythm section where appropriate and have a fine digital keyboard and sound system -- these may require a small rental fee depending upon the size of the event.
