Feedback
- What a delight it was, after several grueling days of convention, to sit in our awards dinner and be surrounded by those swirling notes of jazz... Of all the entertainers I have hired over the years, Mark is surely one of the best, most talented, most professional musicians it has been my pleasure to employ. He and his group were fantastic, and so perfect for that gorgeous room (the Hall of Mirrors in Cincinnati's Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel).
Thank you for one of the most serene, sumptuous evenings of my event planning career. I will be in contact with you again for my next event, to see if you are willing to travel!!
Thanks too to Gigmasters, for helping me find this extraordinary musician. He does you proud. -- Laura T, Cincinnati, OH, 5/20/2006
- Mark and the rest of his trio were the best thing at my wedding! Their music, their professionalism and their cooperation were absolutely top-notch. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking for a great jazz trio, and I myself will use them again when the occasion presents itself. -- Julie M, Gates Mills, OH, 5/27/2006
- Mark was prompt, courteous and dressed appropriately for the evening. We discussed formatting for his sets and breaks, which he followed. And because it was a buseinss-related party, Mark took care to play "under" the conversation and did not try to compete with it or challenge it, just because the guests were talking (which was the point of the party) rather than listening to him. During lulls, he showcased his abilities.
In short, Mark knew to, and knew how to, "work" the room and the situation. Then at the end of the event, he quietly took his leave.
I am very satisfied with how this turned out. -- John M, Fairview Park, OH, 10/1/2005
- Mark Thibodeau-Trio amazed me and my wedding guests. From my initial phone call to the last dance, Mark was so wonderful to work with. He and his bandmates were very professional and so extremely talented. Their beautiful music set the tone for the day and turned the wedding into such an elegant, unforgettable event. I couldn't be happier! -- Staci H, Birmingham, MI, 9/30/2007
- Very easy to work with. Would be my first choice if I had to hire a band again. -- Kathi M, Grosse Pointe Park, MI, 9/7/2007
- Mark and the other band members were wonderful - very nice, accommodating, and easy to work with. They helped to make a successful event even more enjoyable. Thank you. -- Lori D, Toledo, OH, 7/12/2007
- They sounded wonderful! I was told numerous times how soft & soulful their music was. I hope to book them and enjoy their music again in the future. -- Andrea M, West Bloomfield, MI, 12/6/2006
- The Mark Thibodeau Trio played at our wedding reception and they were absolutely outstanding. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music, particularly because it was dancable while also just enjoyable to listen to. Mark and his band are very talented, did a wonderful rendition of "Foggy Day" for our first dance, and happily catered to my odd request for The Beach Boys (on CD) for the father/daughter dance. Mark was lovely to talk with leading up to the event, very helpful and professional then and at the event. He also did a fine job as our MC for the reception. We only regret we don't have a recording of the evening, we loved the music that much! -- Stephanie P, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 6/24/2006
- Fantastic. Talented. Accomodating. Our guests even commented on the performance. -- Kathy B, Farmington Hills, MI, 10/20/2005
- What talent and a real nice guy!! -- Dave F, Saint Clair Shores, MI, 8/13/2005
- You can't go wrong booking Mark Thibodeau's Trio for your event. They are incredible! We had them play at our wedding rehearsal dinner. The space was somewhat small still the sound level was perfect and our guests loved them.
Thank you Mark for the awesome jazz!
