Lisa Matas is an exceptionally accommodating and talented singer and pianist who has been entertaining professionally in various art forms since the ripe old age of 12 (yes, over 25 years), including work as a vocalist, pianist, and actress (even as a stunt woman!). Lisa has performed in Boston, Chicago, and New York, as well as at the Grand Ole' Opry in Nashville. When performing under the pseudonym Lisa Wolf, she has appeared with the Tucson Pops Orchestra, Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic and the Toronto Symphony. She has performed the National Anthem for numerous professional baseball teams including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Tucson Sidewinders, and Chicago White Sox. Lisa has also performed with such notable persons as Michael Ronstadt (yes, Linda's brother) and Jesse L. Martin (of Law & Order fame). She has played piano for countless national and international dignitaries at various private events throughout the D.C. area. Lisa boasts nearly 4,000 songs in her library - and her vocal and piano performances range from wonderful light jazz of the 30s/40s to gospel/contemporary Christian to Show Tunes to classical - all personally arranged and catered specifically to your events and needs. Lisa was very cooperative, collaborative, flexible and accommodating from the very start of our contact with her about our event. She was willing to play songs we selected for our dad and was willing to accompany my daughter on the flute. Lisa and my daughter only had 15 minutes prior to the event to practice and they performed together extremely well.
I know that three of our guests have already asked for Lisa's contact information for their future events. We are extremely happy we found her and are very very satisfied with her performance and professionalism.

My relationship with Lisa started on the day I hired her. From this day forward (over a 10 week period), she was "involved" with planning the musical aspect of our occasion and only in helpful ways! She checked in with me periodically to see how planning was going, if I had any particular requests, and along the way, if I was still happy with the musical selections. She provided me some lyrics which were helpful for our sing-a-long. Lisa was a tremendous hit at our party and very sensitive as to when to play what kind of music. Aside from her professional saavy, she is an incredible piano player with an incredible voice.

Lisa Matas' lovely voice and piano were wonderful at my wedding. My guests and the pastor really enjoyed her selections, performance, and charming personality. When she began to sing Norah Jones' "Come Away with Me" before the ceremony, the atmosphere is the church came softly alive, and her rendition of "No Greater Love" during the ceremony was so beautiful that she nearly brought my sisters to tears. I wish I had a recording of her performance to keep with my wedding photos.

Lisa did the vocal and piano for our wedding. She was outstanding. Not only was she incredibly talented and did a perfect job, but her personality and upbeat spirit was such a bonus to our wedding planning. Lisa is a very talented pianist and vocalist. She came on time and prepared with all kinds of sheet music from the 60s and 70s. Lisa even went out of her way to learn some unfamilar Irish songs and made up lyric sheets to pass around to guests so they could easily join in on the singing. See was wonderful and I will definitely hire her again for next year's party.

We couldn't have been happier having her come and perform for us. She has a delightful spirit about her and she was extrememly accommodating by arriving on time (and even early), came prepared to play and sing and even let us choose songs and sing w/her. We were blown away by her talent and loved her powerful voice. Many people are still talking about Lisa and my sister, for whom the party was, thought this was a great way to bring her into her 30's. My sister was extrememly delighted to have spent an hour singing favorite show tunes. Also, I loved it how quickly she responded to my request for I was in a bind needing to find someone to come to my parents house for the party. When I read what she does I knew I wanted HER to come and to my surprise, she responded immediately and we've had pleasant interactions with her ever since. Lisa provided excellent communication prior to the event and was professional all the way.
