Let Lisa provide a touch of elegance for your private party! Lisa Wolf is an exceptionally accommodating and talented singer and pianist who has been entertaining professionally in various art forms since the ripe old age of 12 (yes, over 25 years), including work as a vocalist, pianist, and actress (even as a stunt woman!). Lisa has performed in Boston, Chicago, Nashville, New York, and, most recently, Yokosuka, Japan. She has also appeared with the Tucson Pops Orchestra, Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic and the Toronto Symphony. She has performed the National Anthem for numerous professional baseball teams including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Tucson Sidewinders, Frederick Keys, and Chicago White Sox. As many clients have said, "Lisa can sing and play ANYTHING!"

Lisa can sing to and play on your (or her) piano or keyboard - or even perform to CD track if necessary - with planning, she believes that whatever fits your needs can be worked out in order to make your event as special and as positively memorable as possible. For small events, her voice is powerful enough to overcome the absence of a sound system! Lisa also works with local musicians to form trios, quartets, and full-on dance bands, including the Wolf Pack and WolfGang. The genres covered include pop, rock, funk and other variety songs if you'd like a more rounded sound and dance feel for your event. Sample song titles are included under "WITH BAND" category in the song list.

Lisa can also excellently site read pretty much any style of piano music - so if you need an audition/rehearsal pianist or a stand-in church pianist, she's your lady!

By day, Lisa has an advanced career with a world class consulting firm. This means that Lisa is not your "typical" musician who shows up late or misses your event. She is a highly professional working woman who runs her gigging jobs just as she has run her exceptionally successful day career: As a courteous, planned-out, thoughtful, respectful, committed professional. Gigs are performed with a contract to ensure mutual understanding and respect.

Feedback

  • Lisa not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. She was early, prepared and very personable. What a joy! Many of our guests wanted to know all about her and how they, too, could book her for their events. We have had many live performances in our home, but she has clearly set herself apart from the others! We highly recommend her! "The folks on the Top of the Hill" -- Princess H, Woodstock, MD, 12/13/2009
  • I would highly recommend Lisa Matas. Her skills in both playing the piano and singing to a vast collection of songs were top notch. She is very accomodating and quickly responded to our e-mail exchanges. Everyone at the party was impressed and the evening was a hit due in part to the presence of Lisa. I'm very grateful for Lisa making the extra effort in coming to our home. She agreed to perform at our home but was up front that she was flying in from out of town on the day of the event and delays or cancellation could occur. I choose to take the risk and although the unexpected snow added another risk, Lisa made it to our home promptly. -- Santiago L, Ashburn, VA, 12/5/2009
  • This was the third time in 3 years we have had Lisa entertain at our parties. She is wonderful! Everyone, young and old, has a great time listening and joining in song with her. I can't say enough. -- Joe P, Clarksville, MD, 12/12/2009
  • Lisa was fantastic. We felt very lucky to have been able to engage a musician of her caliber to entertain us at my husband's 65th birthday party. She is a highly talented vocalist and pianist, very professional, charming, and attractive. Five stars!!! -- Karen H, Rockville, MD, 11/21/2009

  • Ms. Matas was incredibly professional in both the preparation and the event itself. She was very accommodating and very easy to work with. Hiring a piano player was a new experience for us and Ms. Matas made it a pleasurable one. Ms. Matas is very talented and we highly recommend her. -- Steve B, Catonsville, MD, 12/31/2008
  • Lisa was fantastic! Many of the guests told me how much they enjoyed listening to Lisa. I would highly recommend her to anyone who would be considering live music at their party. -- John D, Ellicott City, MD, 5/3/2008
  • Lisa was very cooperative, collaborative, flexible and accommodating from the very start of our contact with her about our event. She was willing to play songs we selected for our dad and was willing to accompany my daughter on the flute. Lisa and my daughter only had 15 minutes prior to the event to practice and they performed together extremely well. I know that three of our guests have already asked for Lisa's contact information for their future events. We are extremely happy we found her and are very very satisfied with her performance and professionalism. Fe Nieves-Khouw for my dad's 100th birthday celebration. -- Fe N, Ellicott, MD, 4/20/2008
  • Lisa was terrific! What a wonderful and talented vocalist and pianist she is! We were so very pleased to have her entertain us at my partner's surprise birthday party. She was prompt, accomodating, and just a "joy" to listen to. Our guests raved about how much they enjoyed the pianist! We highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality entertainment! -- Vincent P, Crofton, MD, 3/16/2008

  • Lisa performed for a 2nd time for us -- this time for our 25th anniversary -- and we were as pleased with her this time as the last. In a word, Lisa is superb! Know you will have a great experience as well. -- Joseph P, Clarksville, MD, 1/5/2008
  • My relationship with Lisa started on the day I hired her. From this day forward (over a 10 week period), she was "involved" with planning the musical aspect of our occasion and only in helpful ways! She checked in with me periodically to see how planning was going, if I had any particular requests, and along the way, if I was still happy with the musical selections. She provided me some lyrics which were helpful for our sing-a-long. Lisa was a tremendous hit at our party and very sensitive as to when to play what kind of music. Aside from her professional saavy, she is an incredible piano player with an incredible voice. Nancie Tassara -- Nancie T, Silver Spring, MD, 12/8/2007

  • Lisa Matas' lovely voice and piano were wonderful at my wedding. My guests and the pastor really enjoyed her selections, performance, and charming personality. When she began to sing Norah Jones' "Come Away with Me" before the ceremony, the atmosphere is the church came softly alive, and her rendition of "No Greater Love" during the ceremony was so beautiful that she nearly brought my sisters to tears. I wish I had a recording of her performance to keep with my wedding photos. -- Susan E, Round Hill, VA, 10/7/2006

  • Lisa did the vocal and piano for our wedding. She was outstanding. Not only was she incredibly talented and did a perfect job, but her personality and upbeat spirit was such a bonus to our wedding planning. I had contacted her only a few weeks before our wedding hoping for a quick response since I had not confirmed a pianist/vocal for our big day. She responded right away and accommodated every one of our requests. She could not have been more pleasant, more kind and more talented. Every person at our wedding commented on how great she was and asked her for her card. I would recommend Lisa to any one and would use her again for any future events. -- Laura T, Gainesville, VA, 4/8/2006
  • Lisa is a very talented pianist and vocalist. She came on time and prepared with all kinds of sheet music from the 60s and 70s. Lisa even went out of her way to learn some unfamilar Irish songs and made up lyric sheets to pass around to guests so they could easily join in on the singing. See was wonderful and I will definitely hire her again for next year's party. -- Sue M, Alexandria, VA, 3/18/2006
  • We had a cocktail party with about 45 guests at our house in celebration of a significant birthday of my wife. Lisa played our piano and sang Gershwin,Piaf, and show tunes, and played some rock and roll. She was poised, played beautifully, handled the attention and lack of attention well. I recommend her without hesitation. Harry R. Sachse -- Harry S, Washington, DC, 9/12/2005
  • We couldn't have been happier having her come and perform for us. She has a delightful spirit about her and she was extrememly accommodating by arriving on time (and even early), came prepared to play and sing and even let us choose songs and sing w/her. We were blown away by her talent and loved her powerful voice. Many people are still talking about Lisa and my sister, for whom the party was, thought this was a great way to bring her into her 30's. My sister was extrememly delighted to have spent an hour singing favorite show tunes. Also, I loved it how quickly she responded to my request for I was in a bind needing to find someone to come to my parents house for the party. When I read what she does I knew I wanted HER to come and to my surprise, she responded immediately and we've had pleasant interactions with her ever since. So, we'd definitely recommend her to anyone. We can't thank Gigmasters enough for this service you provide and for advertising Lisa's talents. • Lisa provided excellent communication prior to the event and was professional all the way. My (90-year-old) father was absolutely delighted with her selections (and wonderful performance) of some of his favorite 40's music, and several of his friends commented that it was the best party they'd been to in years. My dad was the star of his birthday party, but Lisa provided the special classy touch that will keep people talking about it for weeks. -- Harriet L, Adamstown, MD, 6/3/2007
