Our musicians specialize in the Jazz Standards from the Great American Song Book, but can easily customize the sound to meet your specific needs. Our musicians also perform at several local venues, and Karen's quartet can be heard every Friday night in the Swann Lounge at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia beginning at 9:00 PM. We have been featured throughout the country and have vast experience performing at weddings- where we can go from vocalist at your ceremony to full band at your reception, banquets, corporate events, private parties, benefits, studio recording as well as many of the top jazz venues. Critic's say... Karen has a big, warm clear sound that has a sultry quality in her upbeat swing interpretations. Her performance shows she has considerable scat capabilities.

Nothing bad can be said about Karen and her band! The quality of the music was beyond words. Her voice is beautiful and her band perfectly compliments the wonderful jazz performance. Karen performed at my wedding and everyone was very happy and impressed with her. She took time to learn a completely new song before the wedding so that I could surprise my bride and it sounded wonderful! She also accommodated for other special requests and was very professional as an M.C. Karen was very easy to contact and stayed easily in touch throughout the planning process. If only Karen could play at the next 10 weddings I attend!!!!

Exquisite voice and outstanding group. Very professional and prompt in all correspondence and organizational details. She went out of her way to learn "our song" for us, even though it wasn't in her standard repertoire. We had a great event and Karen Wilhelm and her group were fabulous.

There are very few times I can say I have filled in a survey and gave a perfect score. This time I wish the scores went higher!
I hired KAW for a corporate dinner and awards function I was hosting in Atlantic City in February.
The KAW team really impressed me from beginning to end. Professionalism, performance, flexibility and music selection was a perfect fit for my group. Nothing replaces live music and a group function and this team real figured out our group and performed beautifully.
I look forward to working with them again!!

Karen was wonderful (the bass and piano player were also great). My parents’ party would not have been complete without the music. Karen was very accommodating to the amount of pieces that I need for the party. I can not wait to host another party so I can hire Karen again!!!!

We have been flooded with calls from our guests telling us how wonderfully enjoyable the band was. The music was right on the money and every one thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Karen performed our event flawlessly and surpassed our expectations. We requested a livened up party to celebrate the life of my grandfather who passed a day shy of his 98th birthday. Karen took the cue perfectly and created the perfect atmosphere...one which would have had the great man dancing all night to his favorite music. I would highly recommend Karen and her band.
