The Jazz Survivors play a wide mix of instrumental jazz, from bebop to swing to bossa nova. We can also throw in some blues and unusual treatments of pop tunes. We normally a quartet fronted by vibes and trumpet, but we can play as a duo, trio or bigger group, all with different sounds. We work with several talented guitarists, horn players and singers if you want to add those colors to the music. We pride ourselves on the virtuosity of our soloists. We play at private parties, corporate functions, nightclubs, festivals and other events in South Florida, such as the City of Fort Lauderdale SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch.
