Description
The Jazz Survivors play all kinds of instrumental jazz, from classics to bebop to swing to bossa nova to Latin. We can also throw in some blues and pop tunes. We normally play as a quartet fronted by vibes/keyboards and trumpet, but we can give you a duo, trio or bigger group to fit any budget. We work with talented singers, guitarists and horn players if you want to add those colors to the music. We pride ourselves on the virtuosity of our soloists. We play at private parties, corporate functions, festivals, outdoor concerts, nightclubs and other events in South Florida, including annually at the best jazz event around, the City of Fort Lauderdale SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch. Please check out our reviews from clients on Gigmasters and many references on our website.

Feedback
- Bob was great to deal with. The band was very professional and polite. The music was beautiful...fantastic. I love their jazz. The female vocalist had a nice jazzy stlye voice. The band was very accomodating. I wish I could have them play for me all the time. They were reasonably priced and played whatever we wanted and for as long as we wanted. -- Joyce D, Boca Raton, FL, 12/29/2007
- They were excellent. Everyone had the same comments. We certainly would be interested in using them again in the future. -- Richard K, Lauderhill, FL, 11/9/2008
- they played great and were just very pleasant to deal with -- Greg M, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 11/8/2008
- During my initial contact with Mr. LaMendola (Bob), spokesman for the band I was impressed with his knowlegde for the music I requested. Bob did not over state or understate he and the bands' ability to ensure that the party participants would enjoy themselves as a result of the music. Bob and the band were very professional. Dispite the weather, they arrived the time they said and was ready to play. As a result, the early guest were able to enjoy their music. In addition, during the party the guest of honor (my father) had a special request, and the band did not disappoint, and the saxaphone player was excellent! Yes! I would highly reccommend JAZZ SURVIVORS! -- F. J, Miami, FL, 10/8/2011
- The band was outstanding, nothing but rave reviews. Very professional, prompt and put on a great show. will be hiring them again for another event in the future. If you are looking for quality show, this is the Jazz Survivors. -- Kathy M, Coral Springs, FL, 10/31/2011
- The Jazz Survivors are a top notch jazz band! They performed at our wedding reception as a quartet. We left the music selection up to them, with a couple of requests thrown in. What crowd pleasers! They were also good natured when a number of guests, including my three-year-old nephew, decided to grab the microphone to make toasts!
My only regret is that ours was a destination wedding, so I can't book the band for another party we are having in June closer to home. -- Lauren A, Stuart, FL, 4/7/2012
