Jacques Lesure Group Jazz Band from New York City, NY

The Jacques Lesure Group is a Jazz ensemble consisting of Jacques on guitar (in the style of Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Kenny Burrell, Grant Green, etc). The group performs as a trio, quartet and quintet. A vocalist is available upon advanced request. His repertoire consists of selections from the Great American songbook, Gershwin, Ellington, Strayhorn, Monk and many more! Jacques has served the music and arts community for more than 30 years and is known to be a sensational musician, educator/clinician, performer and artist. Jacques is currently on WJ3 records and frequently performs with some of the top musicians in the world such as Jazz At Lincoln Center Pianist, Mr. Eric Reed, Roy Hargrove and Cedar Walton (former) master drummer, Mr. Willie Jones III, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Porter, Les McCann, Oliver Lake, and a host of others. The group will travel to virtually any performance location worldwide. Please communicate all backline, lighting and stage/platform specifications as soon as possible prior to your event. Jacques is available for touring after May 10 (recording in NYC from May 01 through May 10, 2014). Experts on the Great American Songbook, All Jazz Standards and many other compositions - from the very elegant and sophisticated, to the 'bluest' of the blues! Booked on the west coast through April 26 (with dates available 'in region' during that time). Jacques will do outdoor events/festivals/private/society engagements.
