Hale Baskin

Hale Baskin is endowed with a clear, beautiful voice, a sure sense of swing, and a seemingly innate sense of the nuances of Jazz phrasing. She moves effortlessly from channeling the songbirds of the Glenn Miller and Count Basie Orchestras to classic Ella Fitzgerald-inspired Jazz favorites. Looking to kick the party into high gear? We work closely with every client to custom-tailor the size of the band from the most intimate duo setting all the way up to a swingin’ 18-piece BIG BAND. This is based on client tastes, venue/stage size, and budget.

In the larger band formats (7 to 18 pieces), musical accompaniment is provided by the fabulous Fil Lorenz Orchestra. Lorenz has performed with the top names in the business, from the Big Bands of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, to 60’s icons Frankie Valli and Gladys Knight, to Soul and Motown legends Howard Tate and Mary Wilson of the Supremes. He brings a vast array of musical experiences to the table, and his band is always stacked with the area’s A-list players.

A voice, that when heard live, will make you think you discovered her on Verve Records rather than Gigmasters.
