An appealing performer whether accompanying herself "solo" on the seven-string guitar, or singing with an ensemble – duo, trio, quartet or quintet – she displays both a respect for traditional form and a flair for innovative styling, breathing new life into songs composed by Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Duke Ellington, George and Ira Gershwin, Hoagy Carmichael, Jerome Kern, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Luiz Bonfa. With five commercially released CDs, Diane Hubka brings over twenty years' professional experience to her music. She has recorded and performed from New York to Los Angeles, and Internationally from Tokyo to Istanbul, with many jazz luminaries including Lee Konitz, Bucky Pizzarelli, Gene Bertoncini, Carl Saunders, John Pisano, Christian Jacob, John Hammond, Bruce Barth, John Hart and the Brazilian Trio Da Paz.
