The Harry Fix Trio or Quartet

The Harry Fix Quartet plays jazz standards including ballads, bossa novas, up-tempo swing and blues, and New Orleans rhythmic soul. Harry has been playing piano and keyboard around New England for 20 years. Solo piano, duo, trio, quartet, or quintet -
Harry can provide you with the proper musical ensemble appropriate to your event.




Long after an event is over, chances are that people will not remember the food they ate but will remember the music. With more than 20 years of experience playing for functions, Harry knows how to be sensitive to a crowd and set the proper atmosphere, when to keep the mood low-key for casual background music, and when to shift to a more up-tempo swing for dancing.

The trio ensemble includes piano or keyboard, acoustic bass, and drums or you could choose keyboard, acoustic bass, and saxophone. The Quartet ensemble includes piano or keyboard, acoustic bass, saxophone, and drums. Female vocalists April Hall or Patrice Williamson are other possible additions to the ensemble. April and Patrice are superb singers and consummate professionals.

If you are in need of music for your WEDDING CEREMONY Harry will work with you to make sure you select music that will make your ceremony special. As a solo pianist, he will typically play classical music (and/or appropriate jazz standards) for twenty minutes or so as people are being seated before the ceremony begins. Harry plays the traditional processional and recessional pieces for the ceremony. He can also make suggestions for alternatives to the traditional ceremony pieces.

Harry also sings the occasional up-beat swing tune or ballad. Clients and guests alike have commented how much they enjoy the recognizable yet unique song selection and sensitive musical pacing.
