Gigmasters top Jazz Band in North America 2010!

We're here to offer a refreshing alternative to the standard wedding band with swinging sets of Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, New Orleans Funk and Roots Rock and we're always happy to add a few of your favorites to add to the list. Ted Hefko's New Orleans Band consists of myself on Vocals, Sax & Clarinet and Acoustic Guitar along with electric guitar, upright bass, and drums/vocals with the addition of horns and keyboards for larger events.

Ted Hefko and The Thousandaires have just finished up a brand album of originals entitled, "If Walked On Water," featuring our unique blend of New Orleans Jazz and Roots Rock. The Ted Hefko Trio performs most every Sunday afternoon at The Antique Garage in SoHo and frequently at Jules Bistro. Please "Google Me" for longer video and music samples elsewhere in cyberspace.

Feedback

  • As a professional composer and musician it was important to me for our wedding music to be something special. The idea of a DJ or bad pop covers was out of the question. I'm admittedly a bit of a snob when it comes to music - it's my job. The Ted Hefko band was just what we were looking for: fun, energetic, laid-back, and danceable. These are real musicians that live and breathe music and - it shows. Many guests gave us their unsolicited opinions of the music: "the best music at any wedding, and one of the best live bands they'd seen." If you're like me and can't stomach the idea of what normally passes for acceptable Wedding music give Ted a call. -- Sebastian K, Asbury Park, NJ, 9/25/2011
  • On time, responsive, and great music! -- Abby V, New York, NY, 9/24/2008
  • From our initial wedding planning through the event itself, Ted collaborated in a most helpful way. We were particularly impressed by Ted's invovlement in researching and identifying a wonderful selection of classical pieces to play during our ceremony. Later, Ted and his band entertained our guests with a variety of jazz, New Orleans, and dance music that had the everyone bopping right until the end. We were all impressed with Ted's friendly professional manner, stage presence and versatile talent. We felt that music was the most important element of our wedding, and thanks to the Ted Hefko Jazz Band, we had a truly wonderful and memorable event! -- Hector D, New Preston, CT, 6/14/2008
  • They were perfect. On time, courteous, charming - excellent musicians - great stage presence and a please to look at. Everyone enjoyed the band greatly ... very talented and well versed musically. -- Susan P, Purdys, NY, 5/10/2008
