The Luxury Trio is dedicated to the vanishing art of small ensemble jazz. We form a tightly knit musical unit that is both spontaneous and technically skilled. With the Luxury Trio what you see is what you get--we use no computers, or overbearing public address systems. People are always amazed that such a full and organic sound can be emanating from such a small group. The reaction is similar to that of close-up magic. We are often asked, "How do you do that?" The answer is years of practice. Collectively the trio represents over 50 years of playing experience, and it is this artistry we bring to your special event. We provide a musical environment that is invigorating yet subtle enough to allow for conversation. The classic jazz music adjusts to the ebb and flow of the occasion creating an event that people will be talking about for years to come. And when it's time to dance--we really swing.

"I hired the Luxury Trio to play at my husband's 70th birthday party. It was one of the smartest things I ever did in party planning. This group is professional, talented, friendly, and has an awesome jazz sound. All of my guests complimented me on what a wonderful party it was and there wasn't anyone there who didn't have a great time. People got up and danced -- and there wasn't even a dance floor. The dancers ranged from 5 years old to 70. Everywhere you could see people nodding their heads to the time and keeping the beat no matter what they were doing. Thank you, Luxury Trio, for making the party a truly wonderful event. "

Dealing with Lee to arrange the music for that morning was one of the least stressful aspects of planning the entire wedding. I had full faith the entire time that the trio would do an excellent job and we weren't disappointed on our big day. "If you are at all hesitant about booking The Luxury Trio, remove your fears and doubts because these gentlemen deliver!!! Their sound is absolutely phenomenal. They are classy, highly professional and responded to all my requests promptly. I cannot stress how crisp, clean and wonderful their music is. I had 75 guests at my party who ranged in age from teens to 80 years old and everyone that attended raved about how great the music was. I wish I had booked them for an additional hour. Hire them! "I hired the Luxury Trio for both the cereomy and the reception at the same venue. They were awesome, and my guests loved them!
Originally, I had spoken to Lee Martin, the lead guitarist for the band, and I heard him play in Houston when I came to visit. He was fantastic, and he seems to play often at the Hotel Sorella in City Centre Unfortunately, Lee had an accident a week and a half before my wedding, but he was very professional and found a backup guitarist, who was also fantastic!
The band drove to and from Austin in the rain, and they were perfectly on time for everything. I would definitely recommend them to any bride looking for a band. "
