I am a French jazz singer/bassist. I play/sing many French songs as well as American jazz standards and Brazilian bossa novas. My group, depending on the venue and the wishes of the client, ranges from a duo to a quartet or quintet. We play clubs dates, private parties, corporate events, weddings and festivals.
The group lends itself to a mellow, quieting and relaxing atmosphere, performing jazz standards with French and Brazilian overtones.
We have played in the Chicago area for the past 25 years and wish to expand our field of activities. I am now living in New Orleans where my French and Jazz roots blend with the culture of the city.
I am extremely dependable and believe in absolute professionalism: punctuality, stage presence as well as "feeling" the audience, as I am aware that the band is often a background sound tapestry for your event. I will abide by your song wish list and play/sing all songs that you have in mind.
