Michael's repertoire includes all the most requested Sinatra tunes, as well as songs from Tony Bennett, Dean Martin & others that you can dance to, all delivered with his own special flare.
Michael typically works with pre recorded piano & orchestral tracks, but can add dimension with a sax, trumpet, a female vocalist for up tempo dance music, or a whole rhythm section that you can groove to, all options available at your request.
Michael Aingel came of age in New York. Performing since his teens with Jazz & Be Bop legends such as trumpeter composer Howard “the Lip” McGhee, one of the pioneers of modern jazz, Joe Roland, considered by many as the greatest jazz vibraphonist of the era, the Jive Bombers and many others.
In the 1960s Michael was part of the original Jazz Vespers, a concept worship service which served as an outreach ministry for the jazz community begun in New York City by John Gensel, the “patron saint of jazz”. Michael was in good company during those years as famous jazz greats Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Coleman Hawkins, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Erroll Garner, Howard McGhee & Joe Roland to name a few were all members.
More recently, Michael has been performing in his own show “Remember When” incorporating renditions of the songs of the greats. He has twice been a Senior Idol finalist, and has performed as a guest artist throughout South Florida and venues from coast to coast.
