Ms. Solotaire performs with and leads her jazz ensembles; The Linda Solotaire Quartet, Linda & the Back Room Boys (a 1920's Cabaret type show - flappers optional), as well as an eclectic repertoire as half of a duet musical partner, guitarist Stu Greenspan. The ensembles size and instrumentation can be modified to perfectly match your event's needs, making Linda and her bands the perfect musical solution for any affair.
A trained actress, she engages large or small crowds, and emcees with ease. . . Linda Solotaire (leader and vocals) studied voice, music, dance and acting with notable teachers in NYC, and Chicago, and received her BA from Columbia College Chicago. With a background in theory, classical, and 20th-century music, she has enjoyed roles in musical theater, film, studio session work, as well as collaborations on original works. She has performed as a vocalist in a variety of performance situations and venues around the world including the Lake Placid Olympic Arena, ancient Turkish ruins, and the deck of a battleship in the Mediterranean Sea.
