A classy hard working band versed in Jazz, Blues, and Latin rhythms. The Lovejoy Group has performed through out the East Coast including New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

This professional band performs classic favorites from the Great American Song Book, as well as pop and soul tunes from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Individually and collectively the group has played and shared the stage with such notables as: Dionne Warwick, Brian McKnight, Bobby Hutcherson, Joe Williams, Bebe Winan, Al Green, Phineas Newborn, Clark Terry and Webster Young. Club appearances have included: 219 Club, Twins Jazz, Bohemian Caverns, Café Lautrec, HR-57, Ramada Inn, L'Enfant Plaza, the Saloon, B&B Main Street Café, Westminster, Mayorga, Blues Alley, Smithsonian and Kennedy Center.

On the performance stage they are dynamic and never fail to engage audiences. The group also receives rave reviews at weddings, business gatherings, and other events. They work large or small. Full accompaniment can include sax, guitar, and piano as well as drums. They also perform as a duo and trio.
