Cheryl Jazz Quartet from Hyattsville, MD

Cheryl Ann Jones is an eclectic vocalist specializing in jazz, blues, pop, R&B, and a bit of Brazilian music. She has performed in a variety of settings with a diversity of instrumentation. She sang on Sunday nights for 7 years(2005-2012) at the Utopia Bar and Grill with the Wayne Wilentz group and has sang solo jazz at the Loews Madison Hotel, the Mandarin Oriental, Laporta's Italian Restaurant, the Henley Park, Salai Thai, Vicino's Restaurant and Twin's Jazz. She has also sang in a tribute concert to her teacher and mentor, Ronnie Wells at the Strathmore Hall in Bethesda, MD. She sings regularly with the wedding band, "Groove", and recently completed a stint with "Granny's Ball of Odds", an R&B/Funk band in Washington, DC. Cheryl can provide jazz duets, trios, quartets and larger groups for public and private events. Cheryl is a consummate professional and has worked with a plethora of outstanding musicians. With degrees in Music Therapy and Pastoral Care and Counseling, she knows the healing power of music and brings that to any stage upon which she stands.
