Impromptu-Hot Jazz Ensemble

This music simply swings. Deeply rooted in the musical influence of the Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt 1910-1953. This ensemble isn't bound simply to this style. The live experience of Gypsy Jazz has all the power, fire, freedom and virtuosity of Be-Bop to Bossa Nova. Impromptu works primarily as a traditional Gypsy Jazz quartet (i.e. two guitars, violin and bass) but feels just as comfortable in a duo or trio setting.

This music serves to amaze and enlighten the listener, the musician and student of music alike. Also, it is known and admired throughout the world by people of varied backgrounds who, through their own personal "voyage of discovery", have come to share a unique joy found in the music of Gypsy Jazz.
