The Texas Gypsies

Formed in 2003 by experienced professional musicians including GRAMMY winners and musicians from many famous recording artists, this "RETRO ECLECTIC" band has established itself as a classy, unique and fun full time professional band with hundreds of successful performances and has sold thousands of their 3 CD's!

The band averages 150 performances a year and they have played for hundreds of events: major concerts, festivals, wedding receptions, corporate events, fundraisers and more!


We play many styles of music from BIG BAND standards (Sinatra,Buble), NEW ORLEANS Jazz, Gypsy Jazz (Django), WESTERN SWING (Bob Wills), BLUES, POP, 70's Classic Rock, 50'S, Dance and also many original songs too.

Some of the artists our band members have played with are: The Jacksons, Wings, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Texas Playboys, Wynton Marsalis, Tony Bennett, Barbara Mandrell, Blues Brothers and many more!!

• In a word...FABULOUS! These guys gave us just the sound we needed for our fun Prohibition-theme wedding. It is now two weeks later, and all we keep hearing is "Man, that band was fantastic!" • The Texas Gypsies were OUTSTANDING! Very talented musicians...very easy to work with. We have a small cafeteria, so we aim to keep volume low, and they were very accomodating and the strings are perfect for our setting. The variety was great. • These Guys were awesome - they played our out door wedding in th middle of nowhere south of Dallas and they showed up on time. they let us use their sound system and they helped with announcements during the reception. Not only were they professional, but they had the music and talent to match. My wife and I both recieved many complements on the music and how it just made the nights.
