The Rocco John Group Jazz Band from Manhattan, NY

We are a versitile Jazz group who can play as a duo up to a quintet. We have earned prestigious reviews in many national Jazz publications. Known for bridging the line between "in" and "out" playing, we play hard and listen harder.Described as original, edgy, and exciting, ours is not light Jazz. Accomplished Jazz clinitians, we enjoy sharing our music and are happy to offer workshops, masterclasses or Q&A as well as possible integrated music and arts events as part of our appearance. We have earned three Chamber Music America grants to bring Jazz residencies to underserved areas. We continue to serve colleges, communities, festivals and music conferences as well as playing regularly in NYC, NY.
