SAS Jazz and pop Duo/Band Jazz Band from Denver, CO

SAS is a jazz and pop duo that is world-class, moving easily from cool jazz to blues and pop. Sharon Rae (vocals, percussion) and Shelly Davis (keyboards) have entertained people at top performance venues including Universal Studios City Jazz, Downtown Disney, House of Blues, Regent 7 Seas Cruise Line, Westin, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton and other major resorts, not to mention hundreds of other private and public parties at nightclubs, concerts and private homes. Sharon and Shelly changed their name from Sunyatta to SAS, but they are the same incredible band! Their music can move from mainstream jazz to smooth, contemporary grooves to full tilt blues and swing for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, clubs, festivals and all your special events. Their passion for the Great American Songbook is evident as they perform favorite songs made popular by Nina Simone, Diana Krall, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt and Sade. As a duo, Sharon can sing and swing on the snare along with Shelly's piano and keyboards. They can also use backing tracks, but for most larger parties will add other great musicians (full set drummer, bass, guitar, sax, trumpet, etc) to fit your budget and space details. Whatever size band you decide on, you know that you will be hearing Sharon and Shelly. When vocals are not desired, Shelly is available as a solo pianist for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners, and can add other instrumental musicians (duo, trio, quartet, quintet) for your event.
