OH70 Swing Band from Mansfield, OH

OH70 is a seven piece, all star band comprised of trained teachers/players, all seasoned pros, in the Mid-Ohio area. We have all been gigging musicians for many years. We delight in sharing the joy of what we do. OH70 is not as much about making money as a working band, as we are about preserving our art, sharing our love of music with all that we meet, while providing you with the best live entertainment in the area. We perform contemporary arrangements of the "Great American Song Book", ranging from the 1920's-1960's. We also play latin and blues/jazz blues ala the "birth of the cool" era and modern modal tunes. Our performances are always animated and invigorating, as we take you back into the golden age of music of yesteryear through today's hip sounds. OH70 members have experience with a vast variety of styles and genres, from classical to reggae. Art rock to modern fusion. Our love for the classics have brought this amalgamation of talent and experience to bare, focused on a service that is both unique and authentic, reproduced by few groups of the same size, in the greater Mid-Ohio area. We specialize in wedding receptions, engagement parties, private and corporate cocktail parties etc... Making your event stand out by delivering exceptional entertainment is our goal. Making it a time to remember for all involved on that special occasion is OH70's duty to our clients. We will happily consult with you for free, with "no strings attached" in order to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Let us serve you by bringing the best professional entertainment to your next event. We will happily play requests not in our repertoire with reasonable prior notice. OH70 requires a minimum of one hour to set up. We will always be prepared and ready to play 15 minuets prior to your guests arrival. We are always formally clad, neat and professional. We require reasonable access to grounded, three prong outlets. We provide all of the sound equipment necessary to fulfill our obligation. Oh70 has a minimum rate which includes two hours of music, though longer performances can be accommodated with further discussion. 45-50 minuet sets are the norm. We never charge for setup/tear down. OH70 works best not playing at high volumes. Creating the perfect atmosphere for socializing and mingling is the desired outcome which we we strictly adhere to. Playing louder/softer can always be accommodated by simply asking. Our fees are determined by the event type, length of time asked to play, number of musicians required and travel distance.
