Elegance Project Jazz Band from Miami, FL

ENGLISH Elegance is a latin jazz project founded in 2008. The first idea was in 2005 called Sincopa and with the time, the name has changed to "Elegance" like the first album name. It is a fusion of Cuban and world music with traditional jazz, highlighting the dynamics and rhythmic details in an elegant repertoire and the band is composed of high-level musicians based in the city of Miami. Its founder Yorgis Goiricelaya, bassist and arranger musician with international quality which has worked and participated with great figures of the Latin market, and Grammy Award winning artists, has toured worldwide and is endorsed by prestigious brands of musical instruments. In 2009, the project launches album called Elegance like the project name, involving figures such as Paquito D'Rivera, Issac Delgado, Osmany Paredes and the best exponents of Latin jazz in South Florida, two years after Yorgis launch their live DVD called Elegance by night which involved most of the members of the first CD. Elegance has performed at numerous venues in South Florida, Miami festivals, has also been on tour in Costa Rica, Alaska, New York and soon in Mexico with a very positive acceptance of audientes and producers, making a pleasant time for the audience of jazz and other genres. ESPAÑOL Elegance es un proyecto de jazz latino fundado en el año 2008. La primera idea se hizo en el año 2005 llamada Sincopa, cual después agarro forma hasta llamarse como su primer disco, "Elegance" es una fusión de música cubana y del mundo con el jazz tradicional, resaltando los matices y detalles rítmicos de una manera elegante, integrada por músicos de alto nivel radicados en la ciudad de Miami. Su fundador Yorgis Goiricelaya, músico bajista y arreglista de calidad internacional el cual ha trabajado y participado con grandes figuras del mercado latino, y artistas ganadores del premio Grammy, ha hecho giras mundiales y es representado por prestigiosas marcas de instrumentos musicales. En el año 2009 lanza su proyecto con el disco llamado Elegance igual que su proyecto, donde participan figuras como, Paquito D'Rivera, Issac Delgado, Osmany Paredes y los mejores exponentes del jazz latino en el sur de la Florida, dos años después lanza su DVD en vivo llamado Elegance by night donde participan la mayoría de los integrantes del primer CD. Elegance se ha presentado en numerosos escenarios en el sur de la florida, festivales en Miami, también ha estado de gira en Costa Rica, Alaska, New York y próximamente en México con una aceptación muy positiva de los audientes y productores, haciéndolo así un producto fresco y y haciendo un momento placentero para el audiente de jazz y de otros géneros.
