Chance Of Rain Trio / Trinidelphia

The Chance of Rain Jazz Trio and Trinidelphia are two ensembles fronted by multi-instrumentalist Chris Aschman. He is one of Philadelphia's most active freelance musicians, as both a jazz trumpeter and steelpan player. At the age of 24, he as had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as Stanley Clarke, Andy Narell, Melba Moore, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Freddie Jackson, John Swana, and Roy Hargrove, among many others.

The Chance of Rain trio typically features Chris on flugelhorn or muted trumpet along with upright bass and guitar, to provide a soft and romantic ambiance to any event. It can be expanded to feature drums, percussion, keyboard, saxophone, or any number of instruments, and is perfect for cocktail receptions or house parties.

Trinidelphia is the Delaware Valley's premier Caribbean Steel Drum combo. Though it usually is presented as a trio, the group can feature two to five members using any combination of percussion, drum set, bass, guitar, vocals, or a second steel drummer if necessary. It is the perfect caribbean ensemble for your backyard luau or event!
