Donato Soranno

Donato Soranno is a classically trained singer who sings Italian Songs and Italian Opera. In Italy, he performed with two Italian Opera companies, singing various roles as a soloist in several opera productions. In America, he sang several operatic roles with the opera company, The American Center for Puccini Studies and other opera companies in the area.

In addition to his Italian repertoire, he sings International Songs in eight other languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian, Yiddish, Hebrew, Latin and English. He also sings Musical Theatre, Broadway Hits, Inspirational/Religious, Operettas, Standards, Old Time Favorites, and Sing-a-long tunes. His weekly television series features his performing in live shows, presenting music in all of the musical categories listed above. As a recording artist he has recorded his music on a number of DVDs and CDs. His music is available through such Internet musical distributers as ITunes, CD Baby, The Orchard, Song Cast, Amazon, etc.

• Donato was very professional, arrived on time, and performed as requested. I think the older generation at the event enjoyed the performance more than the younger people attending as Donato represents an older style of singing.
