I sing in many styles and 8 languages with a basis in classical/crossover vocal technique - from Opera to Sinatra! I specialize in Italian and Italian-American favorites and produce/perform a "Christmas in Italy" concert annually in NYC at Lincoln Center. My record label/producer of my CD "Cristina Fontanelli Sings Great Italian Favorites" has had many platinum-records with the 4 Seaons/Whitney Houston and others. I'm a member of the 3 leading theatrical unions: SAG/AFTRA/EQUITY and have appeared on TV and in Films. My performances have been covered on CNN, FOX, the Discovery Channel, major NY TV stations, etc. I have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts by the Order Sons of Italy in America, previously awarded to Luciano Pavarotti 30 years ago! I've sung for the last 2 Presidents of the U.S. in Washington D.C.; with the Boston Pops, the St. Louis Symphony, opera companies and festivals throughout the U.S. in venues such as Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. My international career has included solo appearances in concert halls throughout Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Eruope, the Middle East - even Africa! I have appeared for High-profile organizations at the Waldorf Astoria, The Rainbow Room, The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and have headlined in such casinos as the Hilton and Trump in Atlantic City.
