Description

We have more fun playing Irish music than should be legal, and we want your guests to experience the same thing. Our tag line says it all: Trotters Wake ...bringing the pub to your party! TM

Trotters Wake is a 5 piece acoustic Irish band, playing in the Phoenix-Metro area and beyond. Our instrumentation includes guitar/mandolin, piano/bass, fiddle, keyboard, bodhran (Irish hand drum), and vocals. We play a high energy mix of Irish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes. Aside from standard pub or restaurant performances, we can enhance any event or program. Here are some suggestions:

Weddings - How about an hour of Irish music to keep your guests entertained before or after your wedding ceremony while your pictures are being taken. You'll even receive some free/discounted CD's as gifts for your wedding party or other special guests. We've also done Rehearsal Dinners and Receptions. Our band is well suited to provide music for the ceremony as well, with accomplished pianist, violinist, and vocalists.

Corporate - Ballads and Instrumentals as background music during a lunch or dinner, followed by some audience participation. In true corporate form, we can also provide a PowerPoint presentation for the sing-along selections if desired.

School/Civic/Community Events – Finding an Irish band to do a family friendly event can be challenging, but Trotters Wake has nearly 3hr of material suitable for such events.

Church - Trotters Wake is uniquely positioned to provide entertainment to churches, since two of our musicians are Christian praise leaders and two others play on praise teams. Like corporate events, we can provide music during a meal, and some sing-along, but with praise music before or after your program.

Funerals - Yes, we have played Irish music before and after a funeral and even provided spiritual music during the service!

Private Party - Duo, Trio, or Full Band to suit your budget

Feedback

  • We were EXTREMELY happy with Trotter's Wake! We didn't do the traditional band or DJ, so they were our only entertainment after dinner. We asked them to play fun, upbeat music, which they certainly did. Our guests really enjoyed that they brought books of the lyrics so that they could sing along. Our only regret is that we didn't book them for longer, because the guests were having such a great time. We would absolutely book Trotter's Wake again for our next event. -- Erin O, Phoenix, AZ, 3/19/2011
  • Trotter Wake did an fantastic job!!! We will be using them for our event next year and our guest want them for their own events!!!! -- Catherine G, Goodyear, AZ, 5/14/2011
  • The performance was great! Our residents enjoyed the music in the background as they had there St. Patricks day celebration. It wasnt to loud where you couldn't hear the person next to you, but loud enough to enjoy the music. Great Job!! -- Hilda A, Sun City West, AZ, 3/16/2012
