Award winning harpist Wendy Kerner is a Juilliard graduate who has played in a wide variety of settings – from concerts to all types of special occasions throughout CT, the New York area, and beyond. Wendy plays classical as well as popular music, including contemporary selections, love songs, standards and Broadway favorites, and Celtic, Italian and Jewish and Sacred selections. In addition to her extensive solo work, Wendy plays in duos with flute (her Glorian Duo CD "Sounds of the Seine" is on the Delos International label) and works with violinists, singers, in trios with cello, and larger groups, too. She specializes in making the music fit the occasion and receives raves for her musicality, her presentation and reliability. She has performed for the Queen of Thailand, former First Lady Hilary Clinton and other dignitaries, and has played frequently at private residences, business and leading locations throughout the area including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, La Panetiere restaurant, the Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich, and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston. Ms. Kerner is the principal harpist in the Bridgeport, Norwalk and Ridgefield Symphonies in CT and is a founding member of the Irish music group Themselves. She has also served on the Board of the American Harp Society.

"Wendy, playing the harp, performed at our rehearsal dinner in Mystic, CT with a flutist, and the comibation was magical !
Wendy was very accomodating and sent us, ahead of time, a wide choice of music, for us to select for the eveing.
The music added a lot to the nice ambiance of the evening, and many guests commented about how much they enjoyed having such beautiful music played at dinner. Wendy and the flutist played a wide variety of muisc: light classical, from movies and musicals, 70s-80s oldies, modern, Jewish - a bit of everything.
Very glad we had her at the event ! She made a difference!"
