About
I am a harpist, pianist, organist available for weddings, funerals, events and celebrations in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. I have done weddings for 20 years and am familiar with classical wedding repertoire as well as a wide range and style of wedding music. I am also sensitive to the unique wishes and character of each couple. I play organ, piano, and harp and have found many times a couple will want organ for some things during the ceremony, harp for other times, and piano for yet others. I am also very comfortable accompanying singers.
Along with the traditional wedding music for harp or piano I have enjoyed playing contemporary romantic music for weddings. Train's "Marry Me" is beautiful on harp or piano, as is "A Thousand Years" and "Wonderful Tonight" and pieces like that. Many couples like a mixture of classical and contemporary with some folk music added.
The harp I use is a Lyon & Healy and the piano I can transport is a Roland with a lovely grand piano sound and the ability to add other features such as strings underneath.
I have made wedding CD's on harp, piano, and organ I give to couples to help them choose music as well as music lists for other events.
I enjoy each event I play for and every wedding couple becomes very special to me.

"Theresa was absolutely wonderful and I definitely recommend her with all 5 stars in each category! Theresa played the keyboard at my wedding ceremony. She is very experienced and talented. She can learn new music quickly and also has a great repertoire of music already. She made the process of choosing music very simple and enjoyable. She invited me to her own lovely home to hear her play music and help me make final selections. She joined us for the rehearsal and met with my two singers beforehand to practice. "Theresa is one of the nicest people you will meet and will truly care about making your event the best that she can. She was incredibly understanding of how wedding planning can be hectic, and she is always considerate of making the planning as easy as she can. During my wedding, we were thrown a curveball and the pastor wanted her to be in the balcony, which caused a problem. She was the sweetest person and was extremely flexible with everything.
With all of this being said, her music was beautiful. She played the harp while the guests arrived, and she played her keyboard to accompany our soloist, which whom she even set time aside before to practice with."
