About

As a professional harpist in the St. Louis Community, I truly desire to play for any special event you may be having, big or small, indoors and outdoors!!

Whether you are getting married and or having a reception or a private party, I look forward to playing the harp for you. I strive for excellence musically for each event that I play for and truly love what I do.

In August of 2011, I was excited to hear that I was featured in the St. Louis Talent Magazine regarding my repertoire and performance on the harp.

I began my harp career in the St. Louis and Illinois communities twenty years ago, while studing under Mrs. Laura Hearn, a highly-regarded concert harpist, who played for the St. Louis Symphony and the Muny.

Since then, I have had to privilege to have been selected to perform at various wedding and event venues in and around the
St. Louis and Illinois areas. They include: the St. Louis University, Washington University, Lambert International Airport, Ritz-Carlton, Carolyn Vineyards, Scott Air-Force Base and the UMSL Provincial Chapel.

I also frequently play at the St. Louis Jewel Box, the Botanical Garden, the Butterfly House, The Conservatory of St. Charles, and various wineries throughout the mid-west.

I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians in arranged events across Missouri and Illinois.
I have worked with other musicians such as cellist Melanie Halley, music and song writer Stoney Ferguson, and renowned vocalist Cedric Ballard.

My beautiful burgundy harp was specifically made to create just the right atmosphere you are looking for. The wood and strings were carefully chosen along with expert workmanship, to bring out the best quality of sound available from the harp.

Many have said that I flow from my own natural talent and ear for music, as well as my formal schooling to bring out the harp's beauty in each melody I perform. I can improvise as well as read the music, which gives me the ability to transform songs quite easily.

I was once told early on, to play from my "heart", not just from my "harp". I believe you must not only hear the music and see the notes, but you must feel the music inside to really bring out its fullness.

I have been given the opportunity to perform in several orchestral ensembles and worship teams in the past. Recently, I was given the opportunity with play along with a small ensemble at Evangelical Free Church for their Christmas theatrical production in December of 2011.

I am always striving to perfect my playing as I advance my study of the harp each yearm, whether playing with other musician or as a sole harpist.

After several missionary trips to Southern India, I have developed a heart for missions and for low income families here in the U.S. and overseas. My heart's desire is that every bride would have the opportunity to have beautiful music at her wedding, regardless of the cost...that anyone could enjoy the harp.

I feel that I have been given a great gift and want to share it with others.
