Scott Williams performs professionally on an unusual stringed instrument called a HAMMERED DULCIMER. Persian in origin, the instrument now lends itself well to Celtic music and has a gentle, mellow, and serene sound.

Scott performs often at Downtown Disneyland, festivals, concerts, and corporate events. Although Scott is a solo performer, he sounds like a full ensemble with his self-recorded and self-performed accompaniment of mandolin, guitar, bass, synth, and percussion. His performances sound very much like his studio-quality CDs.

THEMED EVENTS, such as Renaissance, Celtic, Civil War period, Victorian are available. Special ATMOSPHERIC LIGHTING is also available with blue, yellow, and red gels to create a 'large production' mood. Professional and clear AMPLIFICATION. SPECIAL PROPS such as candles (electric flickering for firecoded venues) and candleabras AND COSTUMING such as Scottish kilts, Irish, Victorian, steam-punk, Civil War officer for themed events can also be provided.

The dulcimer is a perfect instrument for background ambience. If you are hosting an event, your guests can still converse without the loudness of some bands. Scott is very approachable and people love to see the uniqueness of the instrument and how Scott bounces the hammers on the strings.

TRAVEL: Although Scott performs mostly in Orange County / Los Angeles / San Diego, he also travels to Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, Central Coast, and Northern California for performances.
