Hi, my name is Samara Egan. I started playing the harp at age eight and studied under the president of the Pittsburgh's Chapter of the Harp Society. Through the years I up-graded my instrument from a lever harp to a Concert Grand.

Over the past 12 years, I have performed for harp concerts, mother daughter banquets, church programs, and many weddings for some very lovely couples. I have also had the privilege to provide music for many prestigious events such as: the Pittsburgh Rotary Clubs' 100 Birthday, their Presidential Induction Ceremony, and their First Annual Chuck Tanner Award Banquet; Pittsburgh Public School's retirement dinner; Point Park College's Peace and Diversity Night; Harps for Christmas; The Three of Harps in concert; and the River's Club High Tea Fashion Show & International Tasting Event with Chris Fennimore.

I have had the privilege to entertain in such places as: the Carnegie Museum, the Blackridge Country Club, Omni William Penn, One Oxford Centre, Shadyside Presbyterian Church, the Sheraton in Station Square, Armstrong Farms, and the West End Overlook.

I offer harp music that includes pieces from the Renaissance period through the contemporary music of the Twenty- First Century, as well as spiritual pieces. Vocals for wedding ceremonies are also available.

I would love to be a part of your special day and provide you with harp music to help set a relaxing tone for your event. Thank you for considering me as your musician.
