Description

Moira Greyland plays stunning harp solos and sings beautiful songs including selections from the repertoire of Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli. She also presents a Celtic program featuring the music of Celtic Woman.

Moira is an expert opera singer, and can perform alone with karaoke accompaniment, singing well-known arias like Un Bel Di, Vissi D'Arte, Nessun Dorma and Time to Say Goodbye. Her operatic roles include Donna Anna from Don Giovanni, Rosalinde from Die Fledermaus, Gilda from Rigoletto, Violetta from La Traviata and Dido from Dido and Aeneas. With an extensive oratorio repertoire alongside her operatic repertoire, Moira can step in at a moment's notice and sing for your church, your concert, or your opera company. With a Master's of Music, you know that Moira is qualified to perform all your favorite music. If you would like a duet or a trio or quartet, Moira can bring along other qualified singers to perform at your event.

If you love Celtic music, Moira's harp and traditional Irish stylings have earned her praise from some of the best known Irish singers in the world. Mary O'Hara said "Well done" of Moira's album "Avalon's Daughter, and Margie Butler of Golden Bough said "I wish I could use my high voice like she does." Kristoph Klover of Avalon Rising said of Moira's original composition "Guinevere's Song" "Man! I wish I had written that!" James Meredith, director of Sonos Handbell Ensemble, called "Avalon's Daughter" "Rollicking fun!"

When you hire Moira for your event, you can relax. A trained professional with twenty years of experience, Moira is always on time, always prepared, and very easy to work with. She can appear in formal dress or in Celtic costume. She performs with a stunning golden concert harp, or with a traditional Irish harp. Many of her clients have hired her again and again, citing her professionalism and easygoing attitude. Take no chances; hire the best. Moira is dedicated to making your event a complete success.

Feedback

  • Moira Greyland played the Harp and sang Opera for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party that I gave my sister & brother-in-law. Mrs. Greyland performed three opera songs for the vow renewal ceremony and even agreed to read the vows. Mrs. Greyland was very professional and has a very beautiful voice. I surprised my sister and brother-in-law with Mrs. Greyland, and I know that she made this occasion even more memorable and sentimental for them. I know this was one of the very best day's of their life. I would definitely hire Moira Greyland again and would highly recommend her to perform at any wedding or special event. • Representng the El Sobrante Chamber of Commerce, I would highly recommend Moira Greyland. She was prompt, very professional, accommodating and she played the harp beautifully with an oustanding Operatic voice. She will definately be called to perform again. Marie Carayanis First Vice-President -- Marie C, El Sobrante, CA, 1/22/2011
  • Moira brought fun, joy,and a professional level of musicianship. She sang Gaelic folk songs, an opertic aria from Turandot which just astounded our audience at the Julian Library. Broadway music songs by Lloyd Weber captured our hearts. Her range of genres as well as her range of singing and Harp made for a full program. She was very friendly and acessable to the audience. laurel Granquist Julian County library Arts & Letters committee -- Laurel G, Julian, CA, 5/26/2009
